I am a PhD Candidate in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, working with Aaron Steinfeld in Transportation, Bots, & Disability Lab (TBD) on Human Understanding and Modeling in Robot Failure Scenarios. I have a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Nagoya University, Japan.

[May - August 2024] I was a Research Scientist Intern at Honda Research Institute in San Jose, CA. I worked on multi-modal human modeling and robot action adaptation in physical Human-Robot Interaction, specifically robotic touch.
